Who’s Who
Rev. Tracey Ansell
Tracey is an ordained Baptist minister, and has been serving in the role of Minister at North End Baptist Church since 2013.
Before her calling to ministry, she enjoyed a successful career in strategy development and change management across a range of sectors such as telecoms, the oil industry, and adult education.
Though not originally from Portsmouth, Tracey has grown to love the city deeply. In recent years, she has served as Chaplain to various Lord Mayors of Portsmouth and the City Council, and has been a regular voice on Portsmouth’s Radio Victory online, offering moments of reflection on the Sunday breakfast show. These activities, deeply rooted in Christian beliefs, reflect her belief in the power of Jesus’ teachings to speak into modern culture, and her passion for making spiritual teaching relevant for a wide audience.
Tracey’s home life is enhanced by her husband Steve, two adult daughters and their families. Her five cats, Umbro, Indie, Hope, Minnie & Boaz also add to the tapestry of her daily life and messages.
