Nobody’s perfect, and we know life’s often complicated and messy. So we’re here to help you on your journey –  and we invite you to come as you are!

For more than 200 years, we’ve been helping people to find a greater meaning in life, and supporting them to grow in their faith.

We’re Christians

We’re a friendly, modern church with traditional Christian beliefs. Jesus is at the centre of all we do and believe. We’re clear on all the fundamentals of our faith, and we leave space for different opinions on the secondary things.

We’re Baptists

We’re part of a long tradition of Baptist faith in Portsmouth and, along with nearly 2,000 other independent local churches, we’re members of the Baptist Union.

We welcome everyone

We’re part of a network of churches who work hard to be a community where people who don’t normally go to church feel welcome and comfortable too!
